A member asked:

My daughter 6yrs has a swollen lymph node in her neck, when i touch she feel pain.she has no health issues.should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Watch and wait: She may have an infection in her mouth and it would be prudent to have her examined. If she does not have obvious lesions in the head and neck area you may watch and wait. You may feel the node every couple of weeks, if the lymph gland doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or she develop fever, or loses weight, you should see a doctor. Wish her good health.
