Swollen lymph node on my neck, doctor said it was prob caused by a blackfly bite right next to it. less than 1cm, moveable. but size same for 2 weeks.i cant stop checking / pressing it like 100 times a day ( health anxiety+ocd) am i making it worse?

I doubt if pushing on it makes any difference in its pattern of eventual calming down. These increase in size after stimulation and commonly take 4-6 weeks to return to baseline size.

You may feel the nodes every 2-3 days, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
