Probiotics: Anything that causes irritation to the vaginal tissue can cause a shift in the normal flora. This includes intercourse, bike riding, bubble baths, and even nylon vs cotton underwear. Probiotics and/or yogurt with active cultures can help rebalance. Consider being checked for medical conditions such as diabetes if your symptoms persist.
