For the past year, once a month after my period ends i get yeast infections. after my period it'll start off like a burning sensation then yeast will appear. i've taken otc meds to cure it but it'll keep recurring. how to stop this permanently? ?

Check blood sugar!: When you develop frequent yeast infections, it is important to find out why. See your doc and get checked out. Be sure that you have no problems with your thyroid function or problems regulating your blood sugar that may be causing this. Also get checked for other infections. For now, do not eat meat or dairy products that have hormones or antibiotics in them as these increase human infections.
