Maybe/not: Your OBGYN may have tested you early in pregnancy for evidence of prior CMV infection that would make you immune. They can also test you later to see if you acquire CMV. It is often passed by infants/toddlers with no symptoms after exposure to their saliva or urine. Between 30-40% of infants in day care may be passing virus. A URI is not a common symptom.
