Circumvallate : A circumvallate placenta is an anatomic variant of the way a placenta attaches to the uterus. Typically it does not cause problems. Your doctor may consider periodic sonograms to monitor and confirm normal fetal growth. They may also want to monitor the amniotic fluid levels.
