I had 2 episodes of the room spinning for a few seconds today. my ears felt blocked then like a wave over my head and the room starts spinning. i needed to sit down or i would fall over. any idea what could cause this. i have high bp i'm on bilocor.

Await repetition: These may be your only episodes. If not and you get repeats then a likely diagnosis is Meniere's disease. This is an inner ear problem in which hearing gets disturbed, balance is impossible and tinnitus is common. This can be best evaluated by an ENT specialist - especially a neuro-otologist if one is available.
