What to do with a newborn baby who does not sleep and is constantly having cramps and a tummy ache?

Some basics: I would not take this personal. Newborns communication skills are limited to fussing or quiet. When they fuss for any reason they use their breathing muscle which pouches out the belly & makes it hard. I never assume that means a cramp. They may sleep in brief naps. They can feed off your stress & be fearful. Get a sitter, take a break/hot bath. You will both get through this but ask for help.
