Maybe: The surfaces of your inner lids and eye are quite sensitive. You may have a retained eyelash, a bit of grit/dirt, or something may have been there and created a scratch on the eyeball surface. Close observation in a mirror with good lighting may allow you to find the foreign body. A wet bud could help remove it. If pain persists, an exam & treatment will be needed.
