Lumbar disc hernia: It is very unlikely to be nerve damage and paralysis. The no movement is because of the pain( antalguc contraction). Usually solves in time with repairs and anti inflammatory meds (Advil liquid gel is working very well but in a different dose than the one you read on package), cold packs, massage etc. If in three days there is no subside in pain then MRI and hospitalization for further card
