No: Mri or ct of the lumbar spine will not demonstrate abnormalities of the spine caused by constipation.

Not the MRI,maybe CT: The lumbar MRI will not image the bowel. It will show problems involving or surrounding the spine. If she is having pain from constipation, she may not need any imaging. If there is a questions, her doctor may decide to start with an x-ray and may only do a cat scan if it's really needed.
