A member asked:

Im 48 years old. my blood pressure every year is getting higher. right now is about 130/90- 145/95. is it any medication that i can buy without prescription that can help me to stabilize my pressure? thank you

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need a prescription: Unfortunately, the answer is no. There is no over the counter medication to treat blood pressure. The best thing you can do is keep a log of your blood pressures, and then go see your doctor to discuss starting a medication if he or she thinks it is needed. Good luck!
