How do you get a person to cover their mouth when they cough. i have a co worker who does not cover her mouth when she coughs and she is likely sick.

Impossible to say: Stay away from the co-worker, tell the individual to cover his or her mouth and hope that he or she has enough consideration to do so. You could also wear a surgical mask at work to reduce your risk of infection.

Have a supervisor ??: If you have a supervisor where you work you should inform them of the issue and let them resolve it. Depending on the size of the business there are laws that require them to assure a healthy & safe work environment.

Cough & Cover: You can also mention to your co-worker that you have people at home (if you do) that you want to protect from catching something. Telling her a bit about what they do, etc., can personalize the experience and help her identify w/you. Peace and good health.
