Drug interactions.: Effexor XR (venlafaxine) and Trileptal (oxcarbazepine) may interact & “increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, difficulty concentrating” as well as “impairment in thinking, judgment, and motor coordination. “ (REF: Drugs.com Drug interaction checker). This isn’t associated with increased risk for serotonin syndrome.
