Pacemaker : The pacemaker will have several modes to optimally function depending on what the heart rhythm is. For example, if the heart rhythm changes from sinus rhythm to atrial fibrillation, the pace maker will change modes to pace the heart, because the same mode won’t necessarily work with each rhythm. The cause of the mode switch should be evaluated. Hope that helps!
