A member asked:

Is it a good idea with a pacemaker to have a heart catherization?

Not a problem: Pacemakers treat electrical problems. Most cardiac caths are to assess for coronary artery disease. There are plenty of patient who have both, but just because you have a pacemaker, doesn't mean you need a cath. They are for 2 different things that affect your heart.

No Impact: It doesn't matter; one does not in any way affect the other. Cath away.
