How is neuropathy diagnosed and treated? my toes on both feet are very painful, numb and burn,even wearing socks hurts my toes.

EMG/cause/neurontin: Diagnosis : medical history for possible causes, EMG and nerve conduction studies to confirm diagnosis and blood tests for trace elements deficiencies, other markers to find cause.
Treatment : treat the cause, and treat symptoms use neurontin or lyrica.

Neuropathy: You can also consult a nutritionally-oriented doctor or licensed nutritionist. Alpha Lipoic Acid, as a certain dose, may help, but you need guidance after diagnosis. Peace and good health.
