Hard to say: Asthma is a condition with wide variation in symptoms/effect on individuals. It can be so mild you never have a true asthma attack but have a cough unresponsive to regular treatment. It can be so bad you are on constant meds & are still unstable. These variations can occur within the same family. Without a history, exam and maybe some tests it is hard to define what your issue can be.
