Brokenwrist ?: After a broken bone in the wrist, it is usual for a cast to be placed, and if immobilized for 17 weeks, the tendons and muscles "shrink" and become stiff. You should have gradually expanding exercises to loosen the tendons, which can be painful and difficult to do, but keep at it and this will resolve. See your orthopedic provider for possible referral to a rehab center.
