Joint pain/stiffness: Joint pain and stiffness may be a symptom of Osteoarthritis (general wear and tear arthritis). Common symptoms symptoms of OA include joint stiffness, particularly after periods of rest or non-use (called the Gelling Phenomenon), and decreased stiffness with use or exercise (after the affected joints warm up). So, exercise can help, but then may make the problem worse over time
