Get checked out,: Often occ. irregularities can be felt in the heart rate. But for repeated palpitations it is best to be checked to make sure that you don't have an electrical problem with your heart. Also, it's a good idea to be sure that you have normal thyroid function, since abnormalities in thyroid function can cause rhythm problems in your heart. So get a check up and tell them about the palpitations.
