Same as anyone: A skim milk like tightly adhering film adhering to the membranes inside the cheeks, gums or tongue. It is common for babies to have a normal "milk tongue" from milk trapped in the tongue surface, but the thin white lining inside the cheeks is abnormal. It can be teased off with a cotton tipped bud & might show a little bleeding in some.If it cakes up like cottage cheese it's bee there a long time.

The infection is treatable, but if there is no improvement, recommend consideration of immune testing. The appearance of thriush infection varies depending on the severity. A thin or thick white coating of the inner mouth and tongue is consistent with the infection. Discuss how best to treat the infection with your Pediatrician.
