A member asked:

I am 15 weeks pregnant and have no antibodies for rubella. is it advisable to stop working in customer services to prevent contracting the virus?

Hard to say : In the USA where most adults & kids are immunized and rubella rare it would not be considered. The antibody test for rubella is sometimes inaccurate (on the low side) & if you did have the vaccine as a kid you may still be protected. If rubella is common in your region it may be more of an issue. I would ask your OBGYN who knows your situation better.
