No : Just because one is on Coumadin (warfarin) does not mean a vitamin has to be taken. In fact, multivitamins containing vitamin k should be avoided, unless prescribed by the doctor. When on Coumadin (warfarin) do not start any vitamins or supplements on your own and can only do so at the discretion of the doctor. Alterations in inr levels are possible which could mean danger.
