Neurologist: Pain in the neck with radiation to the shoulder occurs with a pinched nerve root in a neck vertebra. Tingling and numbness of the lip occurs with pathology of a superficial nerve, but can be seen with a brain lesion or demyelinating disease like multiple sclerosis,also. A neurologist is best qualified to evaluate and advise you if these or any other neurological symptoms persist or develop.
