Skin lesion: If you have a mole or other skin lesion that has changed in shape (such as seeming to "split"), it's very important to have it evaluated by a dermatologist or family doctor with training in skin disease. You may need a small biopsy. Even if the lesion doesn't show any other ABC signs of melanoma, it's better to be safe than sorry!
