Examination: Any pain, bleeding, or (as in your case) swelling requires immediate investigation. Both salivary and lymph glands occupy the area you describe. You may have partially blocked and swollen salivary gland. You may have infection causing enlarged lymph gland. Please see your Dentist for an examination.

Is it normal to feel submandibular glands under jaw. Feel large and squishy under jaw. They didnt hurt but are a little tender now because I keep pressing on them because Im anxious. Ive read yes you can and no you cant?
Is it normal to be able to feel your submandibular glands under jaw? I can feel and move them on both sides, they seem symmetrical and about the size of a grape. No pain or infection. Ive never really noticed them before but concerned now?
