A member asked:

I might have gallstones, which is giving me stomach pains. what foods can i eat and what foods do i have to avoid?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Trial-and-error, but: In general, eat foods low in fats or oils, with smaller meal sizes but don't be totally fat-free. We still want bile to flow from the gall bladder. There are supplements advertised to do all sorts of magical remedies, but don't help. Very few supplements have research studies to show benefits. Sellers make claims based on theories, animal tests, testimonials, etc... but not on good human research.
