How long does it take high blood pressure to cause a stroke? years? decades?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends: It depends your age and your medical history and how high is your blood pressure. If you have high blood pressure on the top of arteriosclerosis that is hardening of the arteries you are more prone to a stroke.
