A member asked:

If a nul cell pituitary tumor is raising prolactin by pressing on stalk & causing hormonal imbalance but no milk or amenorrhea, does it need removal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on size: It depends upon the size of the tumor and whether it impacts other pituitary functions or not. The first option would be medication to initiate shrinkage of the tumor with follow up testing to re-check the size.
