Estrogen domination: You think you have symptoms of pregnancy but the hpt is negative. You probably did not ovulate even you had a period or you missed your period. That causes domination of the estrogen hormone and creates signs and symptoms similar the pregnancy and make you think you are pregnant. Take another pregnancy test 3 weeks after sex to confirm your hpt result.
