No: If you did that then you might give your partner gonorrhea. Sex should be avoided for 2 weeks without condoms. You should also make sure he is informed that you have gonorrhea. A discussions should take place regarding who you go gonorrhea from and that person should be informed as well so that they can be treated. I personally recommend patients return 2-3 weeks after treatment for a retest
