I wouldn't: This is for people 12 yrs & older, not a 5 yo and the drug has a variety of common side effects. Set her in a warm tub of water & let her pee if she needs, then show her how to rinse the area well. Most such symptoms at her age are from soapy bathwater not being rinsed completely and triggering irritation at the pee hole. Hydrocortizone cream dabbed over the pee hole can also help.
