Fiber is important!: Insoluble fiber such as found in wheat bran, nuts & potatoes promote the movement of material through your digestive system and increases stool bulk therefore helping with constipation. Steak & potato may therefore be OK in moderation but for your overall health I suggest limiting your consumption of red meat to a few times a week and eating more foods with fiber such as beans and vegetables.
