Gut germs: Bowel gas is created by 2 factors. You swallow air when you eat and gut germs create gas when they digest the debris left in your waste material. The more air you swallow=more gas. The more foods you eat that you don't completely digest ( cauliflower, beans, brussels sprouts, etc.) the more left over food the gut germs have to create gas from. Bowel gas creates pain/cramps as it moves around.
