Good day i had a swollen ankle on saturday which was very painful. on monday, 6 august i got colchicine tablets and the swelling and pain has gone down. is it possible that it is gout? i dont drink wine and eat excessive amounts of meat and neither

Gout: The only reason to be given Colchicine is for acute gout which does not have to occur because you drink red wine or eat excess meat. Good Luck
