Good day i had a swollen ankle on saturday which was very painful. on monday, 6 august i got colchicine tablets and the swelling and pain has gone down. is it possible that it is gout? i dont drink wine and eat excessive amounts of meat and neither

Gout: The only reason to be given Colchicine is for acute gout which does not have to occur because you drink red wine or eat excess meat. Good Luck

Good Day, I have been struggling over a week with gout know. I have taken Cataflan and Dictoflan, yesterday I got Colchicine. Still im having very bad pain in my foot.
I took a round of colchicine for gout on Monday the swelling is gone but the redness and some pain is still there is this normal will it continue to improve over the next few days?
Got gout attack once a month even control food intake and drink 2.5 Liter a day. Back to normal after taken colchicine and painkiller. Is it normal?
