A member asked:

I'm really stepping up my steps lately (shooting for 8-10k/day). i have tendonitis in both legs that is very painful before and after long walks. in the mornings, i have difficulty walking. should i cut back on walking? tendonitis

Overuse: I don't think an inflammatory process like tendonitis or a recurrent sprain, strain will heal if you keep on exercising at this level. The inflamed or overused areas require prolonged rest in order to heal. Taking a week's course of an anti-inflammatory medication like Advil or Aleve may also help. A trainer advising you may be of significant help.
