Is the coxsackie virus contagious after the fever is gone? or are the red bumps contagious through touch contact?

Mixed response: Coxsackie viruses are usually contagious through the saliva until the fever is gone but remains an active virus in stool for up to 6 wks. Any weeping from a sore caused by this family of viruses would contain active virus. Intact bumps would not spread the germ.
