I already went through 3 days of chills and fever, today is my 5th day and now i have the symptoms i listed. is that nirmal of the flu and am i still contagious? if yes can someone be in the same room and get my virus?

Possibly but: It is time for you to contact your doctor given the severity of your symptoms. Do realize that as we get older, we are more likely to develop complications such as pneumonia from a flu- if you indeed are suffering from that. If it is a virus, you can indeed transmit it to someone even in the same room as you. Be sure to wash your hands before touching anything or shaking any hand.
