Is there a way for me to check my uric acid level other than blood work?

No: In order to find out what a patient's blood uric acid level is, the lab would have to test a blood sample. There is not another way (for example, there is no machine with sensors to detect one's blood uric acid level by sensing through the skin, in the saliva, or in the urine).
