Is there a way to help my mother with her muscular dystrophy?

Help trophydys: There are many types of muscular dystrophy, so i can only give general suggestions. First she should be seen at a muscular dystrophy supported clinic or a rehabilitation center where a physiatrist, occupational and physical therapists can evaluate her and offer recommendations from experience and be able to follow her over time and make suggestions appropriate to the changes taking place.
