A member asked:

If both partners don't have std is it possible to still get it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: You can only get a STD from an infected partner. That said, there are some STD's that can go for extended periods of time or indefinitely with no symptoms . The only way to be sure you don't get an STD is never to have sex with a partner that has one.
