A member asked:

How do i go about getting surgery for my constant acid reflux.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Acid reflux: Discuss your symptoms with your doctor. If it is truly acid reflux problem then try medication for it as prescribed. Follow instructions regarding choice of food, timing of eating and sleeping, lose weight. Your physician may refer you for upper endoscopy procedure if needed. Your general health status is also important to know if you are a good candidate for surgery if really nothing else works.
