Is it normal to have post surgical pain 10 months after emergency open abdominal surgery to repair celiac artery?severe post-op x 2 months. 10 months later, intermittent sharp pains so bad i get doubled up. patent artery on duplex. md not concerned.

Post op complication: Get a second opinion. Sharp pain must be diagnosed & treated. It is disappointing to learn the surgeon washing his hands.
