A member asked:

I injured my wrist at work. 2 xrays. not broken but triquetral is raised and very swollen like a marble under skin. what can i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dislocate: That “marble” under your skin overlying the triquetrum sounds like a either a hematoma (collection of blood) from the injury, a traumatic ganglion cyst, or a perilunate dislocation. You need an MRI arthrogram of the wrist. I’m the meantime, ice and a wrist brace should help.
