Radiologist: The radiologist who issued this conclusion should be asked what he/she means by this terminology. Your orthopedic specialist could also shed more light on the diagnosis and what your treatment options are. I assume there is no complete tear of a meniscus but they could be fraying and degenerative changes. The latter could indicate early osteoarthritis for which no surgery would be advised.
