13yr/ son stepped on a colour pencil 2 days ago.made a 5mm hole punctured through to inner skin layer. tried to rinse out the debris but still oozing the colour from the pencil/ also cm wide discolouration around puncture. pain is reasonable?

May be infected: Puncture wounds in the foot are troublesome. The source can carry in germs including tetanus and I have seen these require surgical drainage. With the discoloration around the entry wound it is probably infected and a good exam & tests are likely the only way to be sure it can heal.
