Can zantac cause heart palpitations? started taking 2 weeks ago along with 20 mg omeprazole and started having palpitations. trying to wean off ppi as per doctor's order. i took zantac before and never had a problem. can this be side effect zantac?

Probably : Arrytmia can be a side effect of zantac, although rare, you may want to stop it, and see if the palpitations disappear, if not you want to see your doctor, best wishes, I had to retract my previous answer after researching the issue
