Been off 300 mg zantac for about a week now after doctor told me to come off due to heart palpitations. i am still feeling heart palpitations. can this still be from zantac side effect? i was on zantac 300 mg for 2 weeks + 20 mg omeprazole.

Get second opinion: I do not know why you are on 2 medications for GERD/hyperacidity. Palpitation is not one of the side effects of zantac. Cause of palpitation needs to be investigated. Avoid caffeine & see the effect palpitation can be caused by asthma medications.
