Coccydynia: Tailbone pain also called coccydynia usually is self limiting, may go away in few weeks or months. If pain does not improve see your MD for rectal Examination. MRI may be needed to R/o degenerative changes, Fx , in rare cases tumour. Possible Rx includes Physical therapy for pelvic floor relaxation Massaging the muscles attached to tailbone Local anaesthetic Surgery recommended if all fails
